In December 2012, Discovery acquired a 20% minority interest share. In January 2014, it merged with TF1 to form the Eurosport collaboration, gaining a 51% portion of the business. On July 22, 2015, Discovery reached an agreement to purchase TF1’s remaining 49% stake in the venture.
